197. Thats the amount of countries I can correctly identify on an unlabeled map thanks to a fantastic Sporcle Quiz. I can also do the same with all 50 US states in under 5 minutes, although I consier this to be a significantly smaller achievement.
I spent the first two decades of my life living in 3 countries (Germany, Canada, UK) and hope to add to this number in the coming years. Currently I am finishing up a Bachelor's Degree in Economics at the LSE and after that - nobody knows. During my internships and work experiences so far I have not yet found exactly what I wanted, but I learned a lot by seeing stuff I don't want to do in the future. In short, I'm looking for a job where I can make an impact and take on responsibility early on, where I'm surrounded by interesting people (necessarily vague), where I can work on stuff that actually matters (I don't consider structured derivatives to actually matter), and ideally where I get to travel a bit.
I play drums (semi-well), I code (obviously), and once in a while I shoot some timelapses (seen here). I would like to add "I fly drones" to this list so if anybody from GoPro or DJI is reading this, please send me one (competitors are also acceptable, I am a very open minded person).
One day I hope to participate in the Amazing Race. I think with the right team I/we could do quite well in it - I like problem solving, I pick things up quickly, and I generally don't fear being in unfamiliar environments. I just don't like the fact they're not allowed to use Google on their trips, how unrealistic is that (I usually figure out how to get a Sim Card in any country I visit before worrying about hotels and food - the first can always provide the other two).
I usually respond to emails very quickly, so please feel write one (especially if you'd like to send me a drone).
